Gaston School of the Arts is located at 825 Union Rd., near the corner of Garrison Blvd. and Union Rd. in the former Armstrong Presbyterian Church.  Telephone: 704-866-8882.

Registration for individual classes (one instructor, one student) in piano, voice, clarinet, oboe, flute, percussion, bassoon, saxophone, violin, guitar, banjo and mandolin continues all year and can be scheduled by calling 704-866-8882.  Individual classes are $75 per month with a one-time $10 registration fee.
 
Small group classes in visual art for students in kindergarten through 8th grade may be joined throughout the school year, based on available space in class. Classes are $70 a month with a one-time $10 registration fee.
 
Music for Little Mozarts is offered on Tuesday mornings for four and five year old students, September 14-November 23, 2010.  The class last one hour and introduces music style and concepts with an emphasis on basic musicianship. Cost is $125 per student.
 
Small group classes in drama for students in 3rd-10th grades are held in six week sessions. Classes are held once a week for an hour and a half and are $70 per month.  Students may join anytime during the year. 
 
Group classes in adult art (oil, acrylics, watercolor and jewelry-making) are held in 2, 4 or 6 week sessions. Cost varies depending on the number of hours per week. Click on "classes and registration" and then on "adult art".
 
GSOA Playhouse holds auditions open to the public for students for several productions a year.  Please provide the School with email addresses to receive information on upcoming auditions, or visit our website. 
           
 Gaston School of the Arts is a non-profit organization and an affiliate receiving funds from the Gaston Arts Council.
